It's been a sad week for me. One of my favorite online stores "Cornish Heritage Farms" is closing shop as of the 15th of July. They had a great line of stamps, with some of my favories from the "Thomas Kinkade" line and the "Saturday Evening Post" series. I will soarly miss them. Hopefully someone will buy the copyrights to these series and start selling them.
Todays post is from the "Thomas Kinkade" series. It is called "Skaters Pond". Seeing that it is never to early to start Christmas card that is what I have done today.
I will be doing a pair of classes at "The Stamping Place" in West Columbia, SC, starting on September 18, 2010. The first class will be on coloring the Thomas Kinkade stamp "Foxglove Cottage". We will learn how to clor the image using Copic Markers.
Here is my rendition of "Skaters Pond" using Copic Markers;

Bob... Your picture is absolutely breath taking! I was looking at them and trying to find a way to purchase them; but, funds are telling me otherwise! LOL! Thanks for explaining how to go about doing the coloring with copics! I am currently trying to work on this... but, have not come up with anything as beautiful as yours! Thanks for sharing this wonderful card! I wish I could come visit and take your class! But hey... if the funds aren't there for the stamps, they surely aren't there for a road trip! LOL! Happy Creating! Sara

You know how much I love this card. I think is is one of the best ones you have ever done. Now I wish I had gotten that stamp when I could, but I wouldn't have been able to color it as well as you have anyway! It is gorgeous. Think about entering it in some magazine. It would certainly be published!

Wow, gorgeous as always, Bob! I'm also sad to hear that CHF is closing shop. Didn't get a chance to get any of the TK stamps, and now they're all gone. :( Hopefully someone will become supplier for them.

that card is so lovely Bob, here in the UK we can still buy these stamps. I have just ordered 2 stamps from CHF, have been promising myself for ages would get the mushroom lane ones, and now they will be gone. What a shame

Bob, this card is absolutely gorgeous, the time and effort put into it really shows. i love the glittery, snowy look to it. wonderful, beautiful, gorgeous, fantastic work. So sad about CHF, I am sure someone will pick up thier line. Maybe you could give us a mini online class as to how you colored the card. I would love to learn your technique. LOL Pat Pearson
