So, how I have solved this problem, is to us a Copic Black Multiliner pen to create detail in the interior of the image. You can see in the picture of the card, I have added detail in the hair, the hat and the fence. I think it's an improvement overall. What do you think?
"You are My Sunshine"
The image was colored with my Copic Markers of course. As where the half pearls to make them match the color scheme. In this case I air brushed them, but you can use the brush tip of the marker.
The mat under the image was cut wit a Martha Stewart punch called "Flower Doily Trim Large Punch Around The Page™ Set". The only problen I have found with this punch is that it is restricted in the size cardstock you can us it on. 4"X4", 4"X6", 6"X6" all even measurements. It does have a very cute appearance.
The overall size of the card is 5"X5". This is unusual for me because it costs extra postage to mail it.
Hope you enjoy looking at my effort and will leave a comment. Your comments are what make it worth while.
Have a GREAT DAY and a safe July 4th Holiday!!!!

Hi Bob,
Excellent job and I must say yours looks so much better with the added "lines" in the hair and the fence. Great job on the coloring too! Love the layout of the card and all your details.
