Tiger Face

Sunday, January 3, 2010

On one of the groups that I belong to, I am the only man in the group. So, I was asked to design some cards for men. I will be doing this as one or two cards per month.I guess that they want to have a mans perspective on cards they would like to recieve. So here is my first one.

I call it "Time to Roar"

The image used on the card is a discontinued image from "The Angel Company" it is called "Tiger Face". I colored the image with Copic Markers. There were only five colors use to complete the image. The colors use were Y18,E19,E000,R20, and YG18. A colorless blender was used to lighten up certain areas. The style for the card is a easel card.

Very simple card but very effective.

"Time to Roar"

The background behind the Tiger image was mottled in green and brown chalks. The watermark on the main card was done with a bamboo stamp in Perfect Pearl Medium and brushed with a Green Perfect Pearls powder. Although it does not show on the photo, the eyes of the Tiger were coated with Crystal Lacquer. Give them a little shine.

Very simple card to maker, but one that your significant other would love to recieve and display on his desk.

Have a GREAT DAY!!!
